About Wednesday Lotto

Draws are held on Wednesday evenings at approximately 7:30 PM AEST and 8:30 PM AEDT.
Wednesday Lotto Overview
Launched in November 1984, Wednesday Lotto is one of Australia’s most played lottery games which has the same rules and winning odds as the Monday Lotto.
Between 1989 and 1996, the draw was held on Thursday nights but following the introduction of Australian Powerball in May 1996, the game returned to its original night slot.
In February 2012, the Division 6 prize was added to the game, rewarding the players who match two supplementary numbers even if they only match one or two main numbers.
In order to enter, participants must choose six numbers between 1 and 45. Two other numbers, called supplementary numbers, will be randomly selected.
The price of a ticket is $2.50 for four games.
In order to win a prize, you must match at least one of two main numbers and both supplementary numbers.

Wednesday Lotto Odds and Prize Divisions
The Wednesday Lotto division one prize is worth $1 million and it does not have to be shared in case there are multiple winners. However, there is a limit of $4 million that can be paid out to players in Division 1. This means that in case more than four participants win, the prize fund has to be split equally between them.

How to Play Wednesday Lotto
Entering Wednesday Lotto is similar to playing Monday Lotto. Simply select six numbers from 1 to 45, and two supplementary numbers will also be randomly drawn from the remaining pool of 39 balls.
You can enter up to 10 draws in advance with the Advance entries.
Marked entry
This is the standard entry where you simply choose the six numbers. The only decision you have to make is marking how many games you want to enter. You can mark up to 18 games on a single coupon in-store.
Quick Pick/SlikPik
This option makes entering Wednesday Lotto as quick as possible as you don’t need to worry about having to manually choose your numbers. With Quick Pick, also known as SlikPik in Western Australia, you get a random set of numbers, ready to use.
System entry
You can boost your chances of winning with Wednesday Lotto if you choose the System entry. You may choose between seven and 20 numbers instead of the usual six main numbers. Every combination of six numbers which includes your chosen set will be entered into the draw.
Pick entry
Match at least one or two winning numbers with the Pick entry! With this type of entry, you get to select four or five numbers instead of six. Every number you didn’t choose will be entered alongside the ones you have selected, meaning you will play 820 games for a Pick 4 and 40 games for a Pick 5.
