Set for Life became Australia’s first new national lottery game since Powerball when it started in August 2015. The Division 1 prize was scooped for the first time in only the third draw, on Sunday 9th August, when a Wollongong father in his 40s won with a ticket bought at Woonona Newsagency in New South Wales.
There were two more winners of the top prize inside the first month, each rewarding the lucky ticket holders with a prize totalling AUD$4.8 million spread out over 20 years.
